There are a number of different ways to participate in TMD!
INDIVIDUAL COMPETITIVE: This one is simple, it's a race to the finish line with bragging rights, medals, and prizes on the line for the top three female and male finishers. You'll run solo against the field in one of two competitive heats to see who ends up on top! The 5K race is one lap around the course, while the 10K Double Dare racers will take two laps. In order to post a valid time in these heats, all obstacles must be completed successfully by the racer.
INDIVIDUAL OPEN: Don't have a team or prefer to take on the challenge by yourself, but not really looking to compete? These heats offer a non-competitive opportunity to take on the course by yourself for the fun of it! You will receive a finishing time, but no prizes will be awarded in these heats.
TEAM OPEN: Teamwork and fun are the name of the game here. You'll work together with your teammates to finish the TugMudDare course! There is no minimum or maximum team size, so grab some friends and assemble your team! Team heats are NOT competitive. Team's will receive a finishing time only for fun, no prizes are awarded in these heats.
JUNIOR: The Jr.MudDare is run on a smaller, separate course than the TugMudDare. This run is open to all kids ages 3-15 years old. Children 5 and under require a parent or guardian to participate with them (no additional fee required). This is a fun run with all kids receiving a finishers medal for completing the course!
